"I had my Core I class in the Humanities Building. We discussed a lot about race, and it was challenging to realize I was one of few people of color in the room, and the only South Asian. It was difficult to discuss these issues in a predominantly White space. 

I remember we had this one reading on South Asian women and it was odd to discuss the topic when I was the only South Asian individual in the room."
