ABOUT ME

My name is Teofanny. I am a student at Pomona College studying Public Policy/Sociology and Asian American Studies.

This project arose out of my personal journey to understanding my racial/ethnic identity, especially in relation to the Claremont Colleges.

I am deeply grateful for the Asian American Studies department and courses like ASAM 128: Body Art in the Diaspora for which this project was created. (Thank you, Todd, for your consistently insightful take on mindblowing concepts.)

I would like to thank each of the individuals who generously volunteered their time, personal experiences, and thoughts to make this project a success. I would also like to give special shout-outs to the Asian American Resource Center, the Draper Center, the Quest community, my supportive friends (especially Cody, for shaping many of my ideas for this project), and my loving mother.

And of course, thank YOU for visiting my project!
