I'm a sponsee for AASP, so we've had some events in the space. It's a really great community and our sponsors are very supportive, even the sponsors that aren't specifically our own. It's nice to have such a range of people who care about me and others so deeply and meaningfully."

"I'm on the board of Café con Leche so we come here every week for our meetings. As I take classes that help me learn about the figures on the wall and the organizations that are written about in books, I realize that this space is one of the few that reflects what I'm learning about my people and other Chicanos/Latinos. It's really nice to just be here with other powerful Latinas. The room also has really vibrant colors and beautiful artwork that I can admire when I come here to hang out or do work."
