"Body dysphoria and body image is something that I struggled a lot with coming to Mudd. The Hoch is a reminder of all the things that I hate about myself. Whenever I get a meal there, I always think that I shouldn't be eating so much, or that I shouldn't be eating at all. Negative thoughts like these have contributed to general body negativity and bad habits.

I think there's a racial aspect to it as well, because Asian women have a very certain body type that is portrayed in the media and that people tend to expect. Not fitting that mold can be really difficult for a lot of people. Everytime I go to the Hoch, I'm reminded that I'm not good enough."
