"I'm half-Japanese and half-White. This leads me to feel especially fragmented when I'm at the Pitzer Green Bikes Program. 

It's like I'm Charles in Japan, but I'm Yoshimura in America. The Asian jokes fly so easily from my White friends' mouths, but it's very uncomfortable. It feels like I'm entirely Japanese when I'm here at school, but I'm entirely White when I'm in Japan.
