"My identity formation has been challenged as a transracial adoptee, meaning that I was raised by White parents. I find that I don't really identify with the Asian culture or the challenges that Asian American individuals often talk about.

 

The CMC cube is representative of a white, suburban, posh space on campus. It's not entirely who I am, but it is definitely reflective of the way I view my racial identity. Also, since it's made of glass, it represents invisibility and transparency in that the transracial community is pretty unseen in different campus spaces."
