"My room is my safe haven. It's the place where I take time to unwind and collect my thoughts. My roommate has also been a really huge support system. Before coming to Pitzer, I attended a predominantly White boarding school. Arriving at Pitzer and having my first Black roommate has impacted me a lot more than I anticipated. My roommate is just one of the strongest, most personable people I know."
